JAMMU, Jan 16: Vice-Chancellor's secretariat, which should have acted as bridge between Jammu university and the outside world has off-late taken up job of rebuking, rebutting and rejecting all voices of dissent seeking to uncover malignancy and earnestly desiring to see this grows as one of the country's premier institute.

Jammu, Jan 16: In the much publicised murder of business tycoon Rajinder Bhushan Chopra, his wife, daughter and two servants on September 18, 2006, Principal Sessions Judge, Jammu, R S Jain today granted bail to seven Pardhis who were accused in the case.
The court ordered them to furnish personal bond to tune of Rs 25,000 together with surety bond. The court also observed Incriminating material appearing in the evidence led by prosecution against the ex-MLC and other accused in the case.

JAMMU, Jan 16: The Institute of Music and Fine Arts (IMFA) Jammu continues to face bias and discrimination at the hands of JU authorities as the institute has been headless for the last nearly ten months; besides the incharge Principal-who is also the Head of Dogri department of Jammu University-had no time to visit the Institute for the last three months.
