Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 10: A senior leader of the National Conference, who has also been MLA in the past, is looking for alternatives for his future in politics. Sources said the former NC MLA who had also remained a prominent face of the party from Hazratbal in the past was not in good terms with the party for the past several months. Sources said the main reason of his getting "alienated" was that the party was unlikely to grant him ticket for the then prospective Assembly elections from anywhere in Srinagar. Sources said the party had been eyeing to give Hazratbal constituency ticket to one of the two contenders, who were being seen among the best bets. Sources said with the abrogation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019, the politician has been contact with some politicians from other parties.
