How did Geelani's letter reach Pakistan? Govt to launch probe

Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 25: Even as senior separatist leader, Syed Ali Geelani has reportedly sent a letter to the Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan "thanking" him for supporting the so called "Kashmir cause", the government is likely to start a high level probe to know the veracity of the correspondence. Sources said the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the intelligence agencies of the central government are trying to ascertain if Geelani had really written a letter to the enemy country and how come the correspondence reached the recipient. The sources said the formal probe into the case would be started in the coming days. "He(Geelani) is under house arrest. So the first and the foremost question is as to how come he wrote a letter that went out of his home and who took it out?" asked a senior official on the condition of anonymity. He said another big question was that as to how come the letter has reached the enemy country.
