Fazal Khan Early Times Report Srinagar, Feb 10: The Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, who won the recent RS polls in JK with a slender margin of two votes last week, just one day before the polling day had alleged that a few IPS officers at the behest of BJP had threatened the independent candidates not to vote for him but he had not named the candidates who were threatened. Azad had issued a detailed statement and had blamed the centre for misusing the official machinery to ensure his defeat. He had even said that he would file a complaint with the President Pranab Mukherjee. The two independents who had kept their cards closed to their chest till they cast their vote on last Saturday were MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad Yasin and MLA Langate Er Rashid. When contacted Hakim Yasin while talking to Early Times said, "No IPS officer threatened me."
