Kabra to question Sectt colleague on power crisis
Abh Aaya Ounth Pahad Ke Neche!
6/21/2021 12:23:18 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, June 20: With the Jammu and Kashmir government facing major embarrassment in the wake of power crises in Jammu, a top officer looking after the power department in Civil Secretariat is likely to be questioned soon for allegations of failure on his part. Sources said Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary Home Department, who has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer would question his counterpart in the power department. Sources said the government has inputs that the official, who was also a spokesperson for some other assignments, may have been misleading the Raj Bhawan over the issue of power failure in Jammu. It was reliably learnt that the said official was already under the scanner of the Raj Bhawan and that at a high level meeting he was given “a piece of mind”. Sources said major consensus in the government is that the said official should be held responsible for the power crises in Jammu. “See fixing responsibility needs to be top-down approach where the top brass needs to be held accountable. Had he(official) been disciplined in his job, his ...

Authorities repeat same promises, same figures
6/21/2021 12:23:02 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, June 20: Following footsteps of the political governments to hold meetings after meetings to hoodwink the gullible masses the incumbent dispensation is also convening one after another meeting to give a message that ‘all is well’ in the administration. But system appears to be totally collapsed on the ground due to prevailing mess and anarchy. Interestingly same figures are repeated in one after another meeting because officers are feed up with back-to-back meetings by the higher-ups. On Saturday during a meeting, Principal Secretary Power Development Department (PDD), Rohit Kansal was informed that under CSS Rs. 1576.96 crores has been sanctioned for rural sy...

World Refugee Day: 3-years after central rule in J&K, woes of refugees unresolved
6/21/2021 12:22:42 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, June 20: The whole world is celebrating World Refugee Day on June 20 to highlight and solve issues of refugees but in J&K displaced people feel cheated and betrayed by those at the helm of the affairs. A handout issued by former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta on June 15 is a glaring example that J&K the administration is harassing refugees in the name of state subject. After the abrogation of Article 370, there is no importance of state subject but authorities are directing refugees to produce state subject for getting benefits of welfare scheme. When articles 370 and 35-A were removed, it was promised that all refugees, especial...
