Ex-college Principal to get 2-yr extension
6/7/2018 12:51:40 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, June 6: A former college Principal is about to get an extension of two years, a few months after he retired this year. The state government, sources told Early Times, is all set to bend its very own rules to accord the undue benefits to this 'blue-eyed' Principal who has been striving hard to get his work done from the power corridors. The sources privy to the development said the Principal in question has been in close contact with a senior politician of the state, pleading before him to get an extension of two more years. Such an act, if allowed, would not only violate the rules but will also deny the promotional prospects to the academicians who are waiting in the queue with all legality. "This will once again prove that the politics have infiltrated into the academics, that too in a ruthless way. If the Principal in question is accorded the two-year extension, then it is going to create a nepotistic image of the state dispensation which keeps beating the trumpet of transparency and equality," says an official privy to the development. The Pri...
