Saahil Suhail Early Times Report Anantnag, July 7: Another high profile scam involving the cousin of the former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has snowballed into a major a controversy as Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Wakf Board "illegally" transferred prized property at Gupkar road in Srinagar to the daughter of MLA Dooru-Anantnag, Syed Farooq Indarbi, who was minister for Haj and Auqaf for over two years. The documents related to scam which went viral on social media on Thursday revealed that former Vice-Chairman of the board Nizam-ud-din Bhat allotted the prized property to Syed Sharqiya d/o Syed Farooq Indarbi a few days after the fall of the PDP-BJP government in the state. "Set No. 5 and 6 having 6 beds and 2 kitchens and two washrooms at Gupkar Wakaf complex were allotted to MLA's daughter on 23-06-18," the documents reveal.
