BJP’s insiders involved in goof-up of Ram Madhav’s meeting with Mian Altaf Valley based vested interests in party sabotage move 8/31/2020 12:16:58 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 30: The ‘goof-up’ on the part of BJP to arrange meeting of prominent National Conference leader Mian Altaf with party’s national general secretary Ram Madhav was result of internal politics within the disciplined party. Credible sources in the BJP said that party leadership was desperately trying to rope in a credible and respectable face in Kashmir Valley to further strengthen the party in the Valley. “Instead of facilitating meetings of central leaders with some credible leaders from Kashmir, some Valley based leaders of the party are rather creating hurdles in bringing some mass base leaders into the party fold”, sources said. Insiders in the BJP said that party leadership was desperately trying to open a channel of communication with Mian Altaf who has a strong following across Jammu and Kashmir regions.
