Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 27: Former Finance Minister and an ousted PDP leader Haseeb Drabu has indirectly hit out at the PDP, calling it no different to that of the national conference while equating the two with Lux and Liril soaps who according to Drabu are same with different packaging. Darbu who was ousted from the cabinet as a finance minister when Mehbooba was the Chief Minister in the year 2018 has written an op-ed in a local daily, stating that with PDP founder Mufti Mohd Sayeed, PDP’s core principals too are buried. “True that Mufti Mohd Sayeed by his personal manner, political mettle, and governance method gave PDP a different political culture but that was buried along with him. Indeed, now NC and PDP are to the political sphere of Kashmir, what Lux and Liril are to the marketing world of soap; only packaging is different,” Drabu said. Srinagar district reported five fresh Corona Virus deaths followed by two deaths each in Budgam and Kulgam districts.
