| VOK registers case against Naib Tehsildar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11: Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VOK) today registered a case against a Naib Tehsildar Sangam Eidgah under Prevention of Corruption Act. Spokesman of Vigilance organization said that on the basis of reliable information that Syed Abid Shah of Bhramshah who is presently Naib Tehsildar Sangam Eidgah Srinagar has by way of indulging in corrupt and illegal practices and by abusing his official position has accumulated huge assets both movable and immovable. This property is much more disproportionate to his known source of income. Accordingly a case under FIR No. 24/2018 under section 5 (2) of J&K P.C. Act Svt; 2006 and section 120-B RPC was registered in Police Station Vigilance Organization Kashmir against Syed Abid Shah. Spokesman further said that immediately after registration of FIR searches of residential houses/office premises of above said accused person was conducted. "During said searches evidences/documents with regard to movable and immovable properties were recovered which are under scrutiny to proceed ahead accordingly", said spokesman. |
