Rather inspects administrative unit of Finance Deptt | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 6: Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs, Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather along with Economic Advisor to Government, Mr. Jalil Ahmad Khan and Principal Secretary Finance, Mr. B. B. Viyas, who is also Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, on the opening day of Civil Secretariat at Srinagar in connection with Darbar Move today, inspected various administrative units of the Finance department. They interacted with the employees in the main clerical hall and equired about their welfare and facilities in Srinagar especially regarding residential accommodation to Darbar move employees. Mr. Rather visited the office chambers of various senior officers including Economic Advisor to Government, Director Budgets, Director Finance, Director codes, Deputy Director Budgets and discussed with them matters related to the finance department. He urged the need for providing a separate Record Room to the finance department to keep the important files and related record in safe custody. The employees of the Finance Department complaint about the shortage of space in the main Clerical Hall. Mr. Rather asked the Principal Secretary Finance for adequate measures to redress their grievances at the earliest. The Minister enjoined upon the employees and officers of the Finance department to work will add zeal and commitment to solve problems of the people seeking redressal of their grievances. He assured the employees that better and sophisticated working conditions will be provided to the employees in a phased manner adding that separate wings of the department of industries, commerce and information technology have been established this year where offices of all the administrative units from lower staff upto Commissioner Secretary level have been established under one roof for convenience of the people. |
