`Stop begging for alliance first then think of motions'
Karbalai ridicules NC counselors

SRINAGAR, Mar 15: Lashing out at the NC counselors for moving a no confidence motion against him, the Chairman LAHDC Kargil Asgar Karbalai said the NC must first stop going with a begging bowl to Congress and then move a confidence motion.
Talking to Early Times from Delhi, Karbalai said that NC has appointed Nazir Ahmad Gurezi as Cabinet Minister, provincial presidents Nasir Aslam Wani and Devender Rana to beg Congress for an alliance on one hand and on the other Hassan Khan who is yet to decide whether he is talking on behalf of NC or he is an independent candidate opposes alliance with Congress in Kargil.
"It was Nazir Gurezi who bowed before us for alliance at that time and it is Nasir Aslam Wani and Davinder Rana who are begging for another alliance," said Karbalai
He said that if Hassan khan has submitted no confidence motion against me, he must first consult NC high command in order to get clarification from them and then only make baseless statements. "Besides he must also prove whether he is an independent candidate or a NC worker," he said.
Calling it a frustration Karbalai said that 'now when Hassan Khan and his close associates are aware that Haji Asgar Karbalai is going to contest and succeed as Lok Sabha candidate from Ladakh division on Congress mandate, they feel frustrated as they failed in their mission to grab this opportunity despite trying their best.'
He said: "Their frustration has reasons as they cannot digest achievements of LAHDC, Kargil headed by me in a period of five months only which include much awaited all weather Rs 900 crore Zojila tunnel Project, Rs 11,000 National Highway project, Indoor Sports stadium, centrally sponsored tourism projects and now my nomination for Lok Sabha candidate from Ladakh division as well," said he.
The reaction of Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai came at time after National Conference and its ally Islamia School the opposition party in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil yesterday announced in media that they have moved no confidence motion against Congress led Council allegedly for its failure on developmental front in the area.
Pertinently in September 2013 Congress in alliance with NC and independents had formed LAHDC Kargil with its leader Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai as the Chief Executive Councilor of LAHDC Kargil and yesterday as per reports 11 councilors including eight from NC and three from Islamia School Kargil submitted their no confidence motion against Chief Executive Councilor of LAHDC, Kargil Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai before the office of Deputy Commissioner Kargil who is also the Chief Executive Officer LAHDC, Kargil.
It is noteworthy that LAHDC, Kargil is based on 16 councilors which included eight Councilors of NC, three Independent Councilors of Islamia School Kargil, four nominated Councilors and one independent councilor namely Syed Arman.
