637 vehicles challaned, 78 vehicles seized ahead of I-Day 8/14/2014 11:30:49 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 14: As a part of special drive to check the movement of suspicious/miscreants/anti-social elements on the eve of Independence Day, police under security checking challaned 637 vehicles and seized 78 vehicles in past two days in South Jammu. According to police spokesperson, police under enhanced security blanket ahead of the Independence Day (I-Day) challaned 637 vehicles and seized 78 vehicles in past two days for violating norms in South Jammu. "The checking nakas were conducted under the active command of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand and close supervision of SP City South Jammu, Rahul Mallik, SDPO South Harjeet Singh and SDPO East Rafiq Manhas through and all SHOs and I/CPPs and Sub Inspector Davinder Singh were also involved in this special drive," police spokesperson said.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
