Udahmpur , Jan 24 : A week long workshop on 'cyber crime' which was started on Jan 19 here at Sher-I- Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur today concluded. The workshop was concluded by Mubasir Latifi, KPS, SSP, Crime, Jammu who delivered the lecture/ Presentation on "cyber crime vis-a-vis social networking and online frauds citing various case studies. During the workshop lectures/presentations were delivered by various distinguished speakers viz. M.Y. Kichloo,KPS, SSP Vigilance, Kamal Sharma, CPO , Er. Gagandeep Singh, PHQ, Jammu, D.K Lahana department of Physics and electronics, Dr. Pawanesh Abrol department of computer science, University of Jammu, B.B. Sharma and Satish Sharma from RBI Jammu, Er. Sonakshi Sharma, Cart Bharat, Anil Kumar Sharma from DIC Udhampur who apprised the participants of the course how to deal with day to day issues pertaining to cyber crime. Around 15 officers comprising G.O's/NGO's of J&K Police participated in the workshop. Vikraant Sharma, CPO, CLI was the course Co-ordinator and Jagpal Sharma, Inspector assisted as course secretary for smooth functioning of the workshop. |
