Under US pressure Pak tries to reign over infiltrators along LoC

RAJOURI, Jan 24: Buckling under mounting pressure from the United States of America (USA), the Pakistan government has trying its best to keep the infiltrators well away from Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
If intelligence inputs are to be believed Pakistan government has issued an order to the educational institutions situated near/ in the vicinity of borders either to close these schools or make arrangements for private security personnel till President Obama's visit to India is over.
According to intelligence inputs most of the schools, whether government or private, have been closed by the school administrations as the Pakistan government has warned the repetition of Peshawar like episode, in which more than 140 school children were massacred by the terrorist organizations, in border areas facing Rajouri-Poonch districts.
Sources further added that militant organizations/ISI of Pakistan army in collaboration with Border Action Team (BAT) members trying their best to push the heavily equipped terrorists from these frontier districts of Rajouri and Poonch to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in J&K before Obama's visit.
"Pakistan army has continuously been keeping these trained mercenaries away from forward areas and has restricted their presence in the launching pads.
To make these terrorists scared before making any attempt to infiltrate , Pakistan army itself opening firing toward their sides from forward posts claiming that Indian army will not allow their any such attempt" said a reliable source.
Sources further said that Pakistan army at several places also used force against these trained terrorists to restrict their movements well ahead of Line of Control (LoC) and either they (terrorists) were forced to retrieve to launching pads or to sit in the army camps.
Sources further said that Pakistan government after mounting pressure from USA government don't want to take any risk of militancy related disturbance in India and especially in J&K.
On the other hand prevailing security situation in both these sensitive and border districts have been reviewed at higher level meeting on January 23 which was held at Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo Force) HQs at Rajouri. The meeting was chaired by Maj Gen AK Sanyal, GOC, Romeo Force and besides senior intelligence officers from Central /State agencies the meeting was also attended by Senior Superintends of both the districts. Participants showed their satisfaction over the necessary security measures and close coordination and synergy being maintained between the security forces and civil administration.
They also expressed their views on various issues and measures for management of security environment prevailing in the region reportedly especially in connection with America's president visit to India.
