JAMMU, Feb 23: Maharaja Ranjit Singh Club Simbal Camp won the opening match of the Sub-junior boys Jammu District Hockey Championship, organised by the Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today.
In the inaugural match, Maharaja Ranjit Club defeated Ajit Club Gole Gujral 5-2. Ramandeep Singh (18th and 45th), Sanamdeep Singh (35th and 49th) were the main strikers, who scored two goals each for the winners. Earlier, Ramnik Singh opened the account with first goal coming in the third minute of the match.
From Ajit Club, Pawandeep Singh and Gagandeep Singh netted the ball in the 36th and 50th minute of the match.
Today's match officiated by the technical penal including Ajit Singh, Jagjit Singh, Manjit Singh, Joginder Singh, Satbir Singh, Charanjit Singh and GS Bakshi. |
