| Jammu, Mar 20 : Indian Dental Association, Jammu branch, today organized a dental awareness as well as Oral health check up camp in the home for destitute children on the occasion of World Oral Health Day 2015. Dr.Gautam Sharma, secretary IDA, said that the camp was organized at Balgran, a charitable home for destitute children, at Channi Rama, Jammu. Around 90 children underwent oral health check up and free toothpastes and toothbrushes were distributed amongst them. They were demonstrated the proper tooth brushing techniques and methods of maintaining oral hygiene. Dr. Bhupinder Singh, president IDA, said that more such camps will be organised in the days to come. Dr. Vibha Raina arranged logistics for the camp. AK Khajuria, secretary Balgran, Prem Lata, manager, Mother Asha Sharma and Raman Sharma, warden were also present on the occasion. |
