| New India Assurance, J&K Grameen Bank sign MoU | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 2: The New India Assurance Co. Ltd and Grameen Bank, Rail Head Complex, Jammu has entered into an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for protection coverage of Pradhan Mantri Bima Suraksha Youjna (PMBSY). The PMBSY was announced for the public during the budget presentation by the Finance Minister of India earlier. The said MoU was entered into between Suman Gupta, Senior Divisional Manager and Vagish Chander Sharma, the Chair person of Grameen Bank. Anita Sharma, Sr. Manager of Grameen Bank and Geeta Bhardwaj Branch manager, New India Assurance Company Ltd, Bari Brahmana were present at this moment.
The signing of MoU is a step forward in providing a succor to the general masses, especially the weaker section of the society. The sum insured for each individual under the scheme would be Rs 2 Lakh in Personal Accident. |
