| Mendhar, May 3: Press Council of Mendhar here today celebrated the "World Press Freedom Day at Mendhar. Speaking on the occasion, MS Nazki, Javid Iqbal ,Nazim Ali Manhas and Rahi Kapoor Tariq khan tazeem kazmi asif khan Rajeev Sharma Vinood Dutta, Subash bali rohani kapoor shakeel Ahmed emphasized that the journalists should enjoy maximum freedom in terms of expressing the truth. They advised to the Journalists to work towards preserving the freedom of speech. Emphasizing on the need to protect the freedom of journalists while discharging their duties they said, "Despite working under pressure in places like Border Area reporters have maintained higher standards of professionalism here." |
