Jammu, May 3: Hundreds of Congress workers from Bishnah constituency staged a protest demonstration against the state government for shifting of AIIMS to Srinagar.
According to press release, the protesters also burnt the effigy of the government and shouted slogans against central and state Governments.
Sharma in his speech said that the Congress campaign for restoration of AIIMS to Jammu and revocation of new recruitment policy shall continue and would be taken to its logical conclusion.
Prominent present at this moment include Krishan Saini, Suraj Prakash chairman, Sh Subhash Chander Bhagat, Gulshan sharma, Rattan chand, Chunni lal Bhagat, Ram Pal, Rohit sharma,chairman Dass and so many Congress workers of block Bishnah. |
