Jammu, June 21: Tax Bar Association Jammu today held election for various posts of office bearers at Tax Bar Premises, Excise and Taxation Complex, Jammu.
According to press release, the election was held under the supervision of Election Officers Rattan Advocate Lal Gupta, Adv. Sunil Sharma, Adv. Vishal Gupta.
For the post of President, the members reposed their faith in Advocate Riaz Ahmed Buchh who has been re-elected for 2nd consecutive term in a thumping victory over his rival candidate. Out of total only 75 votes poled, Advocate Riaz Buchh, secured 41 votes against his rival Adv. Vinod Kumar Suri who secured only 34 votes.
For the post of Senior Vice-President, Khem Raj Sharma, was elected unopposed and For the post of Vice President Advocate Amit Gupta Advocate had a clean sweep who secured 49 votes against his rival Advocate Suraj Singh Wazir who got only 26 votes in his pool.
Advocate Sachin Sharma, Advocate Rohit Gupta were elected as General Secretary and Joint secretary respectively. |
