Jammu, June 21: Secondary School Evaluators Association (SSEA) associated with Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education stopped evaluation work in midway in support of their demand including enhancement of evaluation/remuneration rates Rs. 20 per answer copy. The evaluators of SSE under the chairmanship of Mohan Singh master alleged the unconducive conditions in the evaluation centre and unanimously decided not resume work until and unless their genuine demands are not redressed by Board authorities. During meeting they highlighted their demands enhancement of DA per day Rs. 100, enhancement of checking assistants' renumeration @ Rs 2/- per copy, Head examiner should get one day after revising 30 copies, cooling/heating (air conditioning) system should be provided in the evaluation centre on top priority, generator supply should be provided during the power cuts, water facility should be made available on the table of the evaluators, payment of remuneration should be paid immediately after the declaration of results, the fees etc. have been already increased subsequently without consulting the parents, whereas why the evaluators are not getting their proper dues well in time. ' Among others who spoke on the occasion included Mohan Singh ,Bharat Bushan, Subash Sharma, Kulwant Singh and Yash Paul Sharma. |
