JAMMU, Aug 23 : On the occasion of Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) Day, a Go Green Campaign was held in the schools of Nagrota garrison.
According to press release, tree plantation was carried out in Army Public School, Pre Primary School and Kendriya Vidyalaya at Nagrota. A sapling was planted by RR Nimbhorkar, Zonal President AWWA at APS Nagrota. Children of all the three schools participated with Zeal and enthusiasm and planted trees to make surrounding area greener.
The children were made aware of advantages of planting trees and its effect on reducing green house effect. |
