NDA's stand on NSA level talks frustrated Pak, separatists: Sethi | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 23: With the tough stand on NSA level talks taken by Narendra Modi led NDA Government, a clear message has now gone to the Pakistan and the world community that the present government at New Delhi will not allow terrorism and its supporters to grow. BJP Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi, while addressing a press conference at party headquarters on Sunday along with State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, said that the tough stand taken by the government of India on NSA-level talks has made it clear that separatists cannot be given undue importance and they should remain in their limits. He said that the Indian government wanted to discuss terrorism with Pakistan but unfortunately our neighbor, as past practice, which always prefer to invite separatist leaders before any talk with India with a motive of making them relevance but this time it did not happen and therefore both Pakistan and separatists are frustrated. "With each passing day, the separatists are losing their relevance and moreover they do not have any representative character", he said and added that gone are the days when Pakistan used to involve separatists in all matters and the central governments did not oppose. Both, Pakistan and separatists, should now understand that it is the BJP-led government at the centre, which knows what to talk, how to talk and with whom to talk. |
