Jammu, Aug 23: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed sympathies with the landslide victims of village Morha Chhuara of Panchayat Uchha Pind of Kathua District and demanded relief for them at par the flood affected people of the State. According to press release, a meeting of senior leaders of PCC was held at party HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu under the chairmanship of Sham Lal Sharma (former minister) Senior Vice President PCC. The meeting reviewed the situation and urged upon the Govt. to rush all sorts of help to the affected people besides effective measures be taken to save the life and property from such type of tragedies. PCC leaders demanded relief to the affected people at par with the flood affected people of Kashmir Valley. Prominent among those who attended the meeting includes Raman Bhalla, Smt. Kanta Bhan (Vice Presidents PCC); Ravinder Sharma-Chief Spokesman PCC; Rajnish Sharma Co-treasurer PCC; Th. Balwan Singh, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney, Manmohan Singh, Manjit Singh, Vikram Malhotra, Namrata Sharma (all general secretaries PCC), Neeraj Gupta- Secretary PCC and others. |
