Locals rue over dilapidated condition of Hasti-Sarthal road

Kishtwar, Aug 23: The resident of Kishtar and other areas have strongly criticized the administration for its failure to repair the Hasti to Sarthal road, which is also link to Ashta Dash Buja Mata Sarthal Kishtwar temple, which is 25 kilometers from Bus Stand Kishtwar.
Thousands of devotees who visit Machail Yatra Paddar and on their return journey from Machail they like to visit for the darshan of Shri Ashta Dash Buja Mata Sarthal Kishtwar but dilapidate road become a hurdle.
The concerned authorities have so far not paid any attention to repairing and for widening of road. The work of widening from Sarthal to Hasti was allotted to a contractor since long but due to slow pace of work, people in general and devotees of Mata Sarthal Devi Ji in particular, are facing lot of problems.
Meanwhile, Randeep Bhandari Congress Leader Kishtwar has requested the concerned authorities to speed the pace of the work on the roads at the earliest so that people and Yatries would not suffer.
