MLZS organizes Rakhi making competition

KATHUA, Aug 23: Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS), Kathua organized a Rakhi making competition here today in the school premises.
The Principal Mili R Sumbria, Managing Director Pankaj Dogra, all faculty members, student council along with all the students of MLZS and other schools welcomed the chief guest Dr Aruna Sharma District Education Planning Officer, Kathua.
Harjinder Singh (Journalist), Vijyalakshmi (Educationist), Prof Raj Kiran of GDC, Kathua adjudged the competition.
Students of Vth to VIIIth class along with their friends/sisters/brothers from different schools participated in this event. It was truly a delight to watch the young hands of little kids put together intricate material and fondly fiddles for mirrors, ornaments, stones, adhesive etc to make beautiful and extremely creative rakhis.
The rakhis made were a fusion of modernity with traditional theme. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mili R Sumbria said that Raksha Bandhan is a auspicious day which shows peaceful co- existence of every individual. Further she added that MLZS every year celebrates this occasion to promote the feeling of unity and a commitment to all members of society to protect each other and encourage a harmonious social life.
The Chief Guest Aruna Sharma on the occasion lauded the efforts of the management principal and faculty members.
She congratulated each and every student and appreciated their efforts. She motivated the principal and staff to organized such meaningful events which not only help students inculcate high moral values but also mould their personality into rational and responsible beings.
