Jammu, Aug 24: In order to make its ongoing movement against JKSSB a mass movement and to involve maximum numbers of youth against the anti Jammu policies of J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB), the ABVP today launched a signature campaign in Jammu University Campus to seek revocation of order making 'Urdu' compulsory in NT Exam'. Continuing its fighting for the rights of Youth belonging to Jammu Ladakh regions after a chain of protests, rallies and dharnas, ABVP today started the Signature Campaign against JKSSRB's decision of making Urdu as 30 marks descriptive subject in Naib Tehsildar Exam. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, ABVP State Organizing Secretary Pawan Sharma said, "The Signature Campaign launched by ABVP is a success as more than 1500 students from only one campus i.e. JU Campus put their signatures in support of revocation of this order. He also said that the involvement of large number of students and youth in protest demonstrations, rallies and dharnas and now signature campaign is also getting overwhelming response which indicates count down for officials at the helm of affairs at JKSSRB who are supporting JKSSRB’S this anti-youth decision. ABVP leaders also warned the JKSSRB against this and demanded from J&K Govt if the 30 marks Urdu is not eliminated from NT exam, the youth from Jammu & Ladakh regions will come on roads. Among others Gurdeep, Deepak, anirudh, Kanav, Alok, Dinesh and Sidhant also motivated the visitors during this signature campaign. |
