Take stringent deterrent, aggressive measures to counter Pak onslaughts: Harsh 8/24/2015 10:56:11 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 24: Harsh Dev Singh NPP Chairman and former Minister has lambasted the Union Government for its failure to take deterrent action against Pakistan despite the latter's highly felonious, wicked and criminal acts in persistently violating our territorial integrity and in assaulting our national pride and honour. He said that today's threat of Pakistan boasting of being a nuclear nation and the recent statement of Pak High Commissioner Abdul Basit that it shall continue to support the Separatists, in their 'Freedom Movement in Kashmir' should be eye opener for the Indian Government. He lamented the highly defensive posturing of Union Govt. in the face of a highly aggressive Pak and its diplomatic offensive against India and urged upon New Delhi to agitate the matter before the United Nations besides the international fraternity. He regretted the submissive and meek approach adopted by New Delhi despite highly pernicious Pak onslaughts and its continued violations of the cease Fire agreement. He said that the present visit of the Defense Minister would be meaningless if stringent deterrant measures are not taken against Pakistan for its mis-adventures on Loc and International Borders and its veiled threats.
