People rue unscheduled power cuts, demand proper supply 8/25/2015 12:06:52 AM Early Times Report SUNDERBANI, Aug 24: With no respite from the unscheduled power cuts being enforced by the Power Development Department (PDD) in several localities of Sunderbani town, the locals have demanded proper supply so as to get rid of the sufferings they are facing amid hot and humid weather conditions. Several locals lamented that the PDD has failed to implement a proper schedule for the power cuts and instead doing it every now and then for the entire day due to which the people are facing lots of hardships. People alleged that despite making tall claims, the PDD is not able to provide uninterrupted power supply for few hours at one stretch. They said the people of Sunderbani are not only facing the frequent power outages but they are also bearing the brunt of low voltage as and when the supply is restored.
