Early Times Report Srinagar, Aug 22: Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered warlike stores in the frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara. The bust comes a day after three heavily armed militants, who sneaked into this side from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) in Tangdhar sector in Kupwara, were killed by alert troops yesterday. Official sources here this afternoon said a joint operation was launched by Army and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police in the forest area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district. He said warlike stores recovered from the hideout included one mortar, 25 mortar bombs, 10 UBGL grenades, two AK magazines, 60 AK ammunition rounds, one wireless set, detonators and eatables, besides some clothing items. Troops yesterday foiled a major infiltration bid when they gunned down three militants immediately after they sneaked into this side from POK in Tangdhar sector.
