Jammu, Aug 25: Forty five farmers of Jammu province who were sent on 5 days visit training outside state reached back today. They were received by Daljit Singh Chib, (MoS) Vice Chairman J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kisan at his residence at Canal Road, Jammu. While sharing their experiencing with various agriculture farms in Ludhiana, Kartarpur, Jalander, Jandiala, Amritsar etc, the farmers had every praise for Kisan Board who have sent them to visit these farms on spot. They said that they got acquainted themselves with the latest technologies and new innovations which have taken place in the agriculture sector and expressed satisfactions and willingness to utilize the same methods and technologies in their fields at their respective places so that they could also increase their income. The farmers thanked the Vice Chairman of Kisan Board for his efforts which has resulted their sojourn to different fields outside the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Some of the farmers who were with the delegation on tour were Dunda Singh, Surinder Singh, Rakesh Anthal, Chotu Ram Chaudhary, Sohan Singh, Rajveer Singh etc. |
