Reasi, Sept 17: 'Vishwakarma Day' was celebrated with religious fervour, enthusiasm and zeal at Salal Power Station today. At the onset of programme, religious rituals of revered deity Lord Vishwakarma, known as the Divine Engineer and main architect of the universe was performed by A.G.Ansari who attended the occasion as chief guest. Officers and employees of NHPC Limited at Dam, Power House, Switchyard, Dhyangarh Workshop, Bidda Workshop, Complaint Booths of Township & Electrical Complexes, Bus stand etc were also present. A 'Langar community kitchen' was also organised at Bidda Workshop wherein thousands of people including employees of NHPC, their family members and locals took 'Prasad' and obtained the blessings of Baba Vishwakarma. |
