Mount Litera Zee School observes Hindi Diwas

Kathua, Sept 17: Mount Litera Zee School kathua organized Hindi Diwas Competition today in the school premises.It was indeed a day full of fun and frolic when students of MLZS Kathua showcased their finest expressions in the Hindi language on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. Every Year Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14th Sept. as it was adopted as the national language of the constitution assembly in 1949. The event was aimed to bring forth the creativity of young toddlers of classes 4th and 5th in the usage of Hindi language through such competitions.
The show was anchored by Kumud and Jyoti. The Principal Mili.R.Sumbria, teaching faculty and students welcomed the Honb. Chief Guest Dr. Rachna Bhagat (Prof. GDC, Kathua) ,Guest of honour Dr. Tajinder Kour (Prof. GDC, Kathua) and Special Guest Anu Dogra (Chairperson, MLZS, Kathua ) who graced the occasion. The students of class 4th and 5th recited beautiful and rhythmic Poems in Hindi on different and bold topics such as 'Saksharta, beti bachao aur beti badao ,globe warming , Dohe' reminding us of the fact that Hindi is the only language that bond Indians. The Students participated enthusiastically in the function and took it to a higher level by giving Hindi the importance and staged a remarkable performance. Students stole the show with the recitation of" poetic expressions of Kabir and Rahim" . Children dressed in colourful costumes using lovely props enthralled and excelled in the poem recitation.
All judges appreciated the oratory skills of the students and there high standards of creativity which was evident on the occasion.
At last Principal Mili R Sumbria laid special emphasis on the use of Hindi in day to day life. She further added that Hindi is our National Language which bounds every Indian. She said that it is our thirst to explore new horizons of knowledge and learning new languages but we should not forget our National language.
All participants put up an excellent performance and was enjoyed by one and all present in the campus. The competition concluded with the announcement of the result and the appreciation of the prize winner. All participants were awarded with certificates and prizes were distributed among winners .
