Rajouri Clashes: SDS to observe indefinite stir till guilty are booked

Rajouri Sept 17: Sanathan Dharam Sabha (SDS) Rajouri held it meeting here today wherein the members demanded due compensation to traders of minority community whose business establishment were set ablaze by miscreants during Rajouri clashes on Sept 14 and resolved to observe indefinite stir till guilty are booked/arrested.
The meeting was attended by large number of members of organization in which members expressed strong resentment over the recent burning of some shops of minority community in Rajouri town and demanded due compensation to the victims.
Speaking in the meeting, president of Sanathan Dharam Sabha Rajouri Dinesh Sharma asked what sin these innocent people have done for which they lost their only source of livelihood.
Further during the meeting all the members of Sanathan Sabha unanimously resolved that till the guilty are brought to books, the minority business community in Rajouri will not open their shops and will observe indefinite strike.
The members present at the meeting expressed their strong resentment over the prevailing insecurity due to which few miscreants were successful in burning their key business establishments. They demanded that these culprits must be booked under PSA and strong action should be taken against them so that locals can have a faith for the rule of law.
The members of the Sabha demanded immediate compensation for Kusum Pen Store Rajouri, Malhotra Gift Shop Rajouri and R K Hotel at Rajouri who have suffered major losses during the incident.
During the meeting a resolution was passed wherein the Chief Minister Ms. Mehbooba Mufti and Dy C M Dr Nirmal Singh were requested to visit Rajouri and restore faith among the sufferers of the recent unfortunate incident. They also demanded a high level probe into the callous attitude of district police administration in dealing with this situation. In order to prevent such incidents in future the Sabha members also demanded proper security for their business establishments.
Senior members of the executive body of the Santhan Dharam Sabha Rajouri present in the meeting included Rajinder Gupta, Hardev Raj, Bharat Bhushan, Vijay Gupta, Naval Gupta, Vishal Dutta, Koshal Gupta, Tarun Bansal, Neeraj Sharma and Vikas Gupta.
