Bishanah, Sept 17: Pavinder of Ajnala Punjab won the top title of Public Bajrangi Akhada (PBA) organized by BBA Committee, at village Chak Abtara, today. Tehsildar Bishnah, Rafeeq Ahmed Jaral was the chief guest, while Sarpanch Surjeet Singh (neta) was guest of honour on the occasion. Around 75 wrestling competition was held here, in which wrestler from Punjab, Himachal, Delhi and Harayana were also participated in it. For first prize Rs 25000 competition was held between Pavinder (Punjab) and Nasar Ahmed (Doda) in which Pavinder won the title. For Second prizes Rs 21000 competition was held between Farooq (Saroor) and Sethi (RS Pura) in which Farooq won the title. Third prizes Rs 15000, of the competition was held between Baba (Kot Balwal) and Akram (Chowadi) and the match was draw. Fourth prizes Rs 11000, the match was held between Kalu (Bishnah) and Ballu (Punjab) in which Kalu won the match. Fifth prizes Rs 7000, the match was held between Babri (Saroor) and Narinder (Ajnala Punjab) in which Babri won the match. Prominent others who present on the occasion including Chariman of Akhada Samsher Singh, Ex Sarpanch Mona Singh, Caisher Raj Singh, members Anchal Singh Bitta, Makhan Singh, tirth Singh , Doctor Singh, Bodh Raj, Vikram Singh and Arjun Singh. |
