Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 25: The PM Narendra Modi has strengthened the PDP by ruling out the military option against Pakistan after the Uri attack. The Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti echoing the sensitivities of the PM had also said that her party doesn't want war with the Pakistan.
The PM in his address yesterday had made it clear that to 'avenge' the martyrdom of 18 soldiers in the Uri attack, India will try to isolate Pakistan diplomatically, he also called on the people of the Pakistan to fight out unemployment and poverty.
The tone and tenor of much awaited speech some believe was conciliatory in the nature and was probably aimed at smoothing the tempers in the valley and also strengthen his alliance partner PDP.
"The speech of the PM was conciliatory. It has gone well with the valley as it has sent the message that India still wants friendly relations with the Pakistan . It will also send the message that Modi is concerned about the security and also sensitivities of the people of the state, more so of the Kashmir, and he has managed to sent the desired message. It will further strengthen ties and also put across the message that alliance is infact in the interest of the people," said a senior PDP leader, wishing not to be named.
It was the same sentiment echoed by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, while addressing the party workers meeting in the valley, which was the first after the unrest in the valley. Mehbooba reportedly had said that while war was not an option but she did criticized Pakistan for triggering violence in the valley and also for not reciprocating the conciliatory and friendly gestures made by the PM towards Pakistan. Sources said that both the leaders have been working in tandem and it seems that they have large political game plan both for the state and also with respect to the Pakistan.
