Mismanagement in Education Zone Bhagwah
Headless zone suffering from multiple problems
10/9/2016 11:05:15 PM
Early Times Report

Doda, Oct 9: Education Zone Bhagwah In District Doda is headless since last two and a half years. After retirement of N A Natnoo ZEO Bhagwah in April 2013 no ZEO has been posted by the higher authorities of Education department. The DDO powers of zone are lying with principle HSS Bhagwah while other administrative control has been put on the mercy of God.
There has been not even a single academic inspection during the session 2016 in any school of the zone Bhagwah .
Administration seems completely invisible in addressing the genuine issues of students and public demands resulting the mismanagement as most of the schools are suffering due to shortage of teaching staff while some nearby schools have surplus staff .
Chief Education Officer Doda remained busy either on official meetings at Jammu or in political meetings and failed to maintain the system after having number of teachers in surplus category .He failed to adjust the teachers in the schools where they were needed as per the student teacher ratio. As a result the maximum schools in some Bhagwah are facing the acute shortage of staff like LHS Mallan in Bhagwah Zone having total roll of 295 students is run by only 5 teacher where 14 teachers are required . UPS Gadan having roll of 152 students in eight c1asses is run by only 3 teachers instead of 7 trs .H S Kud Dhar having roll of 203 students and only 4 teachers ,while PS Lahdi having 105 roll is run by only 3 teachers ,UPS sheenkhly having roll of 180 students is run by only 4 teachers ,U PS Thatha having roll of 145 students is run by only 03 teachers ,UPS Gurmul having roll of 192 students in all 8 classes is run by only two teachers ,UPS Kunda having roll of 53 students in eight classes is run by only two teachers, N p S G Basti 40 students are taught by only a single teacher in addition to MdM and other official work in NPS Kul in Bhagwah Zone 71 students are taught by only single teacher.
Similarly dozens of such schools in Education Zone Bhagwah are facing the acute shortage of teaching staff where as some of the nearby schools in same zone are having surplus staff like H S S Bhagwah where 12 teachers for 173 students ,H S Bharoure 72 students are taught by 10 teachers ,MS kastighar 64 students by 6 teachers ,P S Korla 4 teachers for only 21 students ,GUPS Gugwah only 26 students are taught by 6 teachers ,GUPS Bhagwah 8 teachers are working for the roll of 89 students in KGBV Bhagwah only 48 students are taught by 8 teachers .
It clearly indicated that the tall claims of rationalization made by CEO Doda is nothing except to provide benefit and arrange posting of some teachers in nearby and schools of their choice . Interest of students, parents and student-teacher ratio has been totally neglected by CEO Doda while doing the rationalization . The public and teaching community of Education Zone Bhagwah has request Education Minister and higher authorities of Education department not to let the education system of zone Bhagwah on the mercy of God which needs immediate attention of Government and higher authorities of Education department .
