Martyrdom Day of S Pritam Singh observed in Rajowa near LOC

Nowshera, Oct 9: In memory of martyr Sardar Pritam Singh, his family members observed Martyrdom Day in memorial place by family members & Sukhmani Sahib Path Rajowa of block Qila Dharal Nowshera.
Army officers and members of non government organization (NGO,s) also gave shardanjli on memory place of martyr Pritam Singh. According to reports if martyr Sardar Pritam Singh had not took a strong step as a volunteer against Pakistan army then the Pak border was made in Sunderbani to Kalakote area. Martyr Pritam Singh has played best role for our country in 1965 said his younger brother former Sarpanch Isher Singh. Singh sacrificed his life for motherland and saved many lakhs people in Nowshera Kalakote and Sunderbani area. Non government organizations (NGO,s) chairman of Anmol Cultural Club Rajouri and president of Singh Youth Club Sunderbani ZorawarSingh were also present in this program. Isher Singh addressing the gathering said his elder brother martyr Sardar Pritam Singh killed Pakistani pathans who captured the OP top hill Peer Bedessar & Lam. Singh sacrificed his life for own motherland on 06 October 1965 and saveed OP top hills. The glorious tradition of people of Qila Dharal and the family members of martyr Pritam Singh also played a great role to protect area. Subedar Ranjit Singh father of martyr Pritam Singh was a ex man and having a experience of world war 2nd has got some weapons from state force then brig Chatter Singh and brig Usman Khan from Jhanger.
