Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 11: Blue eyed PA to former Vice Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir Board for Muslim Specified Wakf, went scot free in major scandal he was named. The Board, according to sources, constituted an enquiry committee, against PA to former VC of Board, but efforts are being made to shield him. "The PA has given undue benefits to Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Board for Muslim Specified Wakf, and the duo had tempered minutes of Board meeting", they said and added that the secretary was withdrawing more than the salary fixed by the board. "In recently held meeting of board of directors, the board fixed Rs 20,000 salary of the Secretary, but the secretary with the help of other officials manipulated the minutes of meeting and withdrew double than the fixed amount", they alleged. They further said that 120 back door appointments were made during the tenure of ExVC. "The Board, is paying Rs 35 lacs as monthly salary to the retired Government employees appointed by ExVC", they alleged. Officials of the Board, whishing not to be named urged upon incumbent Vice Chairman of Board and Chief Minister to probe into wrong of the board in the past. |
