Jammu, May 23: Tarini Magotra, a class IX Student of DPS Jammu, won '# Hero 4 Tawi' title in the category of poetry in # Hero 4 Tawi, Clean Jammu, Clean Tawi, Awareness Campaign initiated by J&K Police Wives welfare Association organized by 92.7 BIG FM Jammu from 21-23 May. In a glittering ceremony organized by PWWA and 92.7 BIG FM, the chief Guest, Bharti Vaid, Chairperson PWWA awarded Tarini with the coveted title and certificate. Also present on the occasion were Ruby Dilbag Singh, R.J. Vikrant, R. J. Juhi, other dignitaries and prominent citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. Tarini who had earlier been a Student RJ for 92.7 BIG FM, has won this competition for presenting her self-composed poem on the theme of cleaning Tawi, the video of which was uploaded on the official Facebook page of 92.7 BIG FM for public voting, along with those of other contestants from various schools of Jammu. Tarini won this competition by getting maximum appreciation votes for her poem. The other students who participated in this competition from DPS Jammu were Kriti Kaul, Jiya Gupta, Bhuvan Deep Singh, Laksh Proach and Mehak Gupta. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta, congratulated Tarini for her proud achievements. Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra too appreciated Tarini and encouraged her to keep adding to her knowledge and skills. |
