NPP appeals for support to restore Dogra pride, identity

Early Times Report

Ramnagar, July 10: Addressing monthly meeting of NPP workers at Ramnagar Shiv Dev Singh Provincial General Secretary JKNPP of the party lashed out at BJP who shamelessly tolerated each and every "Farmaan" of Ex. Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti with folded hands for the entire period of 31/2 years in Govt. and now boosting of development agenda at Jammu region only to befool the public for grabbing power. He said now the public is well aware about their selfish design and will never forgive them for their incompetence, cowardice and misdeeds. Recently a delegation of Panthers Party toured the entire hilly belt of Dudu-Basantgarh area and found that huge promises made by the BJP MLA, R.S Pathania are only in the air and on ground found only such works which has either been completed or started by Former Education Minister Harsh dev Singh during his tenure. He also made a scathing attack on Mehbooba Mufti who often said that PDP is a principle-based party which always stood for justice and equality among all the three regions. She released approx 10,000 innocent stone-pelters from Kashmir who targeted our Patriotic Army but the cases against Amarnath land row are still languishing in Jails. Where did her principle-based party at that time? he asked. Entire Dogra community from Jammu region demanded CBI probe in Rassana Murder case, but declining their genuine demand, she deliberately appointed such an investigating agency and persons with suspected credentials who always dance to her tunes. Crushing genuine voice of the people is also the principle of principle-based party, he asserted. Providing 90% job to the innocent youths of one region and ignoring highly qualified youth of other region and forcing them to burn in scorching heat on roads is also the principle of PDP. He finally made an humble appeal to all the public in general that they have given many chances to both Congress and BJP to remain in power for the last 70 years, but the state of affairs and discrimination with Jammu region continue to remain the same.
People have also witnessed the shortest spell of tenure about 2 yrs of Mr. Harsh Dev Singh as Education Minister during which he had taken historical decisions and had totally revolutionized the Education Deptt for which the incumbents will remain indebted to him for centuries to come.
