The Director's decision to hold the order has received wide criticism from the section of teachers and society who really are interested for better future and academic standard of the children studying in government schools.

"This order has created a mess in the education department here at Rajouri as those who after serving for one year/ more than one year in hard areas were transferred/adjusted have joined their duties at new places while those teachers transferred to hard zones will now take advantage of DSE order and ultimately the students have to suffer" said a senior Education Officer.
In the District Development Board's meeting it was decided to provide teachers at every school as many schools including middle and high had only 1-2 teachers and poor children were suffering.
Even those teachers (appointed before 2015) in hard zones had to be transferred/adjusted after one year in the areas nears to their habitations but still they were waiting the orders.
"As per DDB decision the list of the teachers to be transferred/ adjusted in the hard zones were sent to DDC for recommendation and only after his OK the orders were issued" said CEO,Ch Lal Hussain
DSE vide his office order No.DSEJ/NG/36096-99 dt 18/7/18 observed that J&K TF, teaching fraternity have alleged pick and choose policy was adopted CEO thus violating all the norms including without seeking any approval from Directorate office despite Government's ban on transfers vide order No9-Edu of 2018 dt 11/4/18.
Aftab Tantray, district president J&K RETTF while appreciating the CEO's bold initiative said being a honest officer and dedicated for the up-liftment of education standard in the district has provided teachers in the far off schools.
"As the role of middleman in the transfer policy was totally ignored by the CEO and now they are up in the arms against the CEO and adopting such tactics" said Tantray.
Rahil Ahmed and Ashiq Malik of Hard Zone Teacher's Federation have also appreciated CEO's initiative and said vested interests raising voice against his bold decision.
A senior Education Officer said before holding the CEO order, DSE should have seek the complete information from the CEO, Rajouri after some allegations against his transfer order
