Missing ban order on employees' union in LA found
1/14/2019 11:15:02 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 14: Some employees attempted to misplace an order regarding ban on Employees' Union in Legislative Assembly Secretariat issued by a former Speaker two decades ago, to conduct elections fraudulently , but the same has been recovered.
Order copy no LA-934/Adm/95 issued by the then Speaker LA Choudhary Mohammad Aslam in 1995 which is in possession of Early Times reads that the undersigned has been watching the activities of both the previous and present office bearers of the
Association for the last two years and has found that the officials in the name of association have only been creating indiscipline. They have been getting false and fabricated issues published in the news papers and not attending their legitimate duties. They are reported to be sitting in groups, gossiping in the office and least bother to clear the huge back log of work of preceedings etc.
It further reads that in present situation their activities are considered prejudicial to the security of the State as well as administration of the office. Therefore, in the best interest of the administration and smooth functioning, all sort of groupism and the Association which already stands dissolved and any official found violating these orders would be liable to be dismissed without notice.
They said that many employees were not aware about the ban on employees union in LA but some black sheep very cleverly misplaced the order and misguided the other employees to get the elections conducted last year which was totally illegal. Former Secretary Legislative Assembly Rattan Lal Sharma, when contacted informed Early Times that Employees' Union has not followed the proper procedure and no written permission has been taken for holding elections.
Sources told that the union members took undue benefits and got government accommodations to their blue eyed who were juniors by ignoring seniors. They also have Whatsapp group in the name union which is being used for instigating other employees and running propaganda against government.
