| GPAOA welcomes Pawan Singh's appointment as Dir Agriculture | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 1: The J&K Graduate Promotee Agriculture Officer's Association (JKGPAOA) led by its president Raghubir Anthal has welcomed the newly appointed Director Agriculture, Jammu Pawan Singh Rathore.
The president apprised the chair that Agriculture being seasonal activity needs timely action in implementation of various schemes in the field. He assured that as a professional work force our prime duty shall be providing a relevant feedback and technical advice to the chair so as to initiate right decision/action in the larger interest of the farming community.
He further stressed that unfortunately Agriculture department being badly managed in terms of Human Resource Development needs equal attention and the Government's decision regarding placement of Head of Agriculture Department from KAS cadre shall be seen as step to finalize the seniority of all classes of gazetted cadre at the earliest.
He added that with the fixation of seniority the past precedence of temporary promotions in violation of rule position may come to an end and justice reach to the door of all.
The Director Agriculture Jammu assured that all efforts will be made to look in the seniority related issues of department and hoped all agriculture professionals will deliver their required services with the full of their potential for the betterment of farmers. |
