BPCL staff, dealers donate 1 Lakh for Pulwama Martyr family

JAMMU, Mar 1: While nation remembered the sacrifice of the CRPF bravehearts, Retail team of Bharat Petroleum Jammu remembered the son of soil HC Naseer Ahmed who was one of the Pulwama Martyrs. Taking this nobleinitiative, Officers and Dealers of BPCL paid homage to the braveheart at its office in Bahu Plaza today. Petrol Pump dealers from Jammu Province and Officers of the corporation jointly contributed Rs One Lac to support the family members of this Martyr.
Shazia Kouser, wife of Naseer Ahmed was handed over the Banker's Cheque in the presence of his 76 Battalion CRPF Commandant Neeraj Kumar Pandey and BPCL's Territory Manager Rajesh Sharma on this occasion. She was accompanied by her mother Zubaida Begum and SirajUd Din Ahmed, elder brother of the Martyr and both children. While she and family members of the martyr shared the good moments about his life, Neeraj Kumar narrated his personality as a soldier. He also shared some experiences of this para military force towards the maintenance of law and order apart from fighting the militancy in the state of J&K.
Addressing to the participants, Rajesh Sharma informed that Team BPCL at Jammu had always been in the forefront on any cause that is of national interest but this sad incident of Pulwama on 14.02.2019, not only shook the nation but entire world. Each of the souls on earth has a responsibility of returning back all the goodness acquired from the society only and face the mother earth with pride. There would not have been a better way of expression towards his kin, who laid down his life to ensure that we always stay protected.
Entire team of BPCL and Dealers vowed for any such cause in future also, when it's a concern of the nation. It is worth mentioning here that BPCL and J&K Police are running five Petrol Pumps in Jammu Province, Profits of which are spent for the welfare of the kins of martyrs of J&K Police.
