AIBCU holds meeting discusses reservation to general category | | |
Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 1: To discuss the decision taken by the union cabinet to grant 10% reservation to Economically Weaker Sections among general category, the All India Backward Class Union (AIBCU) held a meeting here today. In the meeting, the speakers and participants welcomed the decision but denounced the definition used as socially and educationally backward classes which include RBA; ALC; LOC and IB. All such categories on the name of RBA; ALC; LOC; IB and Pahari Language are unconstitutional and the union cabinet turned a blind eye over this while taking such a decision, they added. The members condemned the Union MoS in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh's statement that the justice has been as they alleged that the injustice is being continued on the real OBCs by the sustained state terrorism in J&K State and that too on the name of changed definition of "Socially and Educationally Backward Classes" which prevails throughout the country and in all the states except J&K where PM Modi PM had promised to implement Mandal Report. Besides, the speakers and participants appealed all the OBCs to go against the so called OBC leaders working in different political parties particularly in BJP so as to expose them and teach them a lesson in supporting the loot of due share by their respective political parties. |
