Lal Singh arrested in Doda, workers protest MLA Doda not allowed towards Kishtwar

Doda, Apr 10: Founder Dogra Swabhimaan Sangath-an Choudhary Lal Singh detained at Khellani area in Doda district ofJammu and Kashmir today.
As per reports available, Choudhary was going to attend the cremation of RSS leaders Chandrakant Sharma who was killed by unknown gunmen on Tuesday at Kishtwar district. Report said that, Choudhary Lal Singh was stopped by police on Doda-Kishtwar-Jammu highway at Khellani where officials dis-allowed him to attend the cremation and arrested him as precautionary measure to avoid law and order situation. After arrested, he was shifted to police station Doda in a police vehicle.
District President along with workers of DSS stage strong protest against district and police administration Doda for arresting him. While talking to Early Times, District President said that when he was on way towards Kishtwar, police officials stopped and detained him but at the same time, various vehicles of RSS and BJP were allowed towards Kishtwar. It is very shamefull that to stop minister level person for attending a funeral without any reason. It is pertinent to mention that, national highway -244 was closed at various places Chenab Valley and sealed after administration imposed curfew in the Bhaderwah area of Doda. At pull Doda and Khellani the vehicles were not allowed towards Kishtwar where DDC Doda, Army and police continue lock down the area following killings.
Earlier, the BJP workers was also arrested by the police whom was not allowed towards Kishtwar. After realeasing them, MLA Doda amd other leaders also not allowed to attend the cremation and protest against DC Doda and SSP Doda to immediate transfers.
