B2V–III: DDC Samba reviews preparedness of departments for effective implementation

SAMBA, Sept 28: District Development Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria today convened a meeting of district officers to review the preparedness for the line departments for the effective implementation of the “Back to Village” programme phase-III in the district commencing from October 02.
Programme Officer, ICDS, Anu Bhel, Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman, Sub Divisional magistrate Ghagwal, Ram Kesh Sharma, General Manager DIC, Sansar Chand, Chief Medical Officer, Rajinder Samyal besides other district officers, block development officers, and field staffs attended the meeting.
The meeting decided that the B2V- 3 will be implemented in 9 blocks of district in three stages covering Purmandal, Bari-Brahmana and Vijaypur from 02 to 04 October, Ramgarh, Samba and Nud from 06 to 08 October and Ghagwal, Rajpura and Sumb from 10 to 12 October.
The DDC exhorted upon all the district officers to put up their departmental stalls at the venue for wide publicity of their schemes.
He stressed on maintaining close coordination among the different departments for achieving the desired results. “Different officers have been deployed in each Panchayat of the district and deliberations with local public and Panchayat raj institutions representatives will be held to implement the program,” he said.
He said the status of works sanctioned in B2V-I and II and the working of different departments will also be reviewed.
The DDC laid emphasis upon all district officers to invoke maximum awareness among the locals so that the objective of the Government of taking governance at the door step is achieved.
