JAMMU, Jan 6: Department of Sociology, Government Degree College (GDC) Akhnoor organized an online poster making competition on the theme "None of us are equal until all of us are equal" under the guidance of Dr. Namarta; Principal of the College.
Gender equality in society has always been a topic of discussion. The purpose of the competition was to encourage the College students to participate and present their views on gender equality in the society.
In online Poster Making competition the students portrayed and presented their perspective on various aspects related to the sub themes like, gender equality in education, health, agriculture and corporate sector.
The activity was organized and executed by Dr. Priyanka Ganjooand Sandeep Sharma. The First position was bagged by Kamana Sharma of GDC, Akhnoor. Second position was secured by three students namely Riya Choudhary, Priya Verma and Sanjana Sharma of GDC Akhnoor.
Further third position was bagged by students namely Anjali Sharma, Jasreen Kour, Ankit Singh Manyotra and Vishal Sharma of GDC Akhnoor. E-certificates were sent to all the participants for their active participation in the competition. |
